Our Finance team is deeply ingrained in the functional areas of the business and partners heavily with the leadership team on critical decisions. Team members are expected not only to have the skills to analyze data and surface takeaways/recommendations, but must also lead cross-functional decision-making processes and communicate recommendations to leaders at all levels in the company.
The ACI Finance team is small and dynamic, comprised of five subgroups: Investor Relations, Tax, Revenue Management, Accounting and Corporate Development & Treasury.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform the monthly close process for corporate finance and ops which includes preparing accruals, reviewing spend to ensure financial data accuracy, preparing and/or reviewing variance analyses and updating models used for tracking with actuals for the month
Provide financial support to the business across budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for capital expenditures, operating expenditures and headcount. This includes loading the forecasts into Cognos. Ensure and maintain forecast data accuracy and integrity at all times
Work closely with the Accounting teams to ensure tight finance controls and fulfill internal and external audit requirements
Maintain chart of accounts for the business
Assist the business with Finance related deliverables, e.g. quarterly variance analyses, budget review presentations and ad-hoc analyses as required
Play a key role in the continued improvement/development of processes and reporting tools
Minimum Requirements Needed:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or evidence of exceptional ability
2 years of financial analysis experience
An understanding of operational accounting and finance concepts like accruals, purchase orders, processes, capital vs. expense determinations, and variance analyses
Demonstrated success working in an ambiguous environment and driving positive change to produce solid financial results
Ability to read and interpret financial statements
Extraordinary ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and to handle multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly to senior leadership
Highly collaborative, team oriented, self-starter who is willing to take initiative and achieve results
Knowledge of and experience using MS Office products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Highly Desired Skills:
3 years of experience from a public accounting firm, a company or a combination thereof
Proven experience with at least 3 years of progressively impactful finance and/or accounting work
Experience using Cognos
