the direction of supervisor, conducts laboratory and animal studies for the
development of new or improved veterinary or biological products.
+ Performcomplex laboratory and animal work under moderate to close supervision.
+ Performroutine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
+ Responsiblefor recording data, performing calculations, and providing tabulatedsummaries to supervisor.
+ Assist inwriting laboratory procedure with close supervision.
+ Coordinatework schedule with animal care group.
+ Assist in thepreparation of standard operating procedures and R&D procedures underminimal supervision.
+ Performcomplex analyses and draw conclusions to experiments with close supervision.
+ Write studyprotocols and reports with minimal supervision.
+ Serve as StudyInvestigator for laboratory procedures and animal studies.
+ Readscientific literature as assigned by supervisor.
Make project-oriented presentations in the team
Education Minimum Requirement:
BS in
biology, microbiology, virology, immunology, biotechnology, animal science,
poultry or related field.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 5
years of experience working in a laboratory environment.
Good knowledge
of aseptic techniques including cell culture and bacteriology techniques.
knowledge of microbiology, bacteriology and virology.
Experience in
laboratory techniques such as western blot, ELISA, and immunofluorescence
Strong verbal
and written communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills
such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Must be able
to work effectively with colleagues in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
working in a laboratory environment focused on vaccine research is preferred.
Experience in
immunoassay development is desirable.
Knowledge of
immunology and molecular biology techniques such as SDS-PAGE, RT-PCR, plasmid
cloning and recombinant DNA technology is highly desirable.
? A
good knowledge and experience working with poultry pathogens is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
