Technical Product Owner-Payroll

Aureus Group has partnered with a fortune 500 company here in Omaha who is looking for a Technical Product Owner specializing in Payroll. The company is looking for someone who is excited to learn about new Payroll/Time Collection Technologies but also has the personality to work well with vendors and stakeholders. This Technical Product Owner position is very strategic to the organization. You will be the leader in strategic roadmaps and a valuable asset to executing payroll initiatives. Overview of what your Technical Product Owner job will look like: -Work with business controls and back office solutions -Handle all enhancements to payroll within SAP and time entry -Work hand in hand with the payroll group to ensure they meet all compliance requirements -Implement new Agile processes -Some travel may be involved (10%-15%) such as going to conferences or various company locations to provide training for modules that would be billed. Requirements and Technical Skills of the Technical Product Owner: -Experience with MS Visual Studio -Experience with Agile and Waterfall software development practices -Experience dealing with union collective bargaining agreements -SAP experience, HCM preferred. -Office 360 -Peoplesoft -SharePoint -Must have worked with payroll vendor systems This Technical Product Owner role is a direct hire position. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
