The Maintenance Technician position is available at the Merck Animal Health facility in Elkhorn, Nebraska, located on the West end of Omaha. The Elkhorn facility is expanding operations to manufacture animal vaccines and biologics. Looking for talented individuals to join our Production teams using key technologies for cell culture, filling and packaging.

The Maintenance Technican will work with a dedicated and talented team to manage the facility/mechanic and automation needs of the Elkhorn Production site.
Assigned duties vary based on experience and may include the following:
+ Assist with new equipment installation.
+ Ensure equipment is in top working order through regular and preventative maintenance
+ Evaluate and maintain equipment to ensure or improve safety and production efficiency
+ Interpret mechanical drawings, construction drawings and machine manuals
+ Conduct daily boiler rounds and facility checks.
+ Utilize technical equipment to include computers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, etc
Ideal qualifications for this role include:
+ Education and or previous experience related to mechanics/automation/HVAC and equipment set-up and alignment
+ Aptitude to effectively problem-solve and collaborate with others
+ City of Omaha 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer?s lic.
+ High School diploma/GED
Required Experience
+ Basic Computer Skills
+ Ability to speak/write and read English
+ City of Omaha 3rd Grade Stationary Engineer License
This position is eligible for shift differential and a weekend premium paid for working Saturday or Sun

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
