¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Perform complex laboratory and animal work under moderate to close supervision.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Responsible for recording data, performing calculations, and providing tabulated summaries to supervisor.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Assist in writing laboratory procedure with close supervision.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Coordinate work schedule with animal care group.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Assist in the preparation of standard operating procedures and R&D procedures under minimal supervision.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Perform complex analyses and draw conclusions to experiments with close supervision.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Write study protocols and reports with minimal supervision.¬ 

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Serve as Study Investigator for laboratory procedures and animal studies.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Read scientific literature as assigned by supervisor.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬  Make project-oriented presentations in the team meetings.

¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ 




  • A Bachelor's Degree in biology, microbiology, virology, immunology, biotechnology, animal science, poultry or related field.

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a laboratory environment.¬ 

  • Do you have knowledge of microbiology, bacteriology and/or virology including cell culture techniques?¬ 

  • Experience in laboratory techniques such as western blot, ELISA, immunofluorescence assays, or other laboratory technique.¬ 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.¬ 

  • Must be able to work effectively with colleagues in a cross-functional environment.¬ 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience working in a laboratory environment focused on vaccine research.¬ 

  • Experience in immunoassay development.¬ 

  • Knowledge of immunology and molecular biology techniques such as SDS-PAGE, RT-PCR, plasmid cloning and recombinant DNA technology is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of bacteriology techniques.

  • Knowledge and experience working with poultry pathogens is a plus.¬

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
