¬ Applicants should have a science background and a working knowledge of basic laboratory techniques in life science, with a preference in virology and bacteriology field. Successful candidates are open to learning and committed to making an active contribution to team goals in a highly collaborative environment.


We are seeking interns with strong academic performance, communications skills, teamwork, and the ability to work in a multi-functional environment.¬  This is a paid internship targeted to start in June 2019 for 10-12 weeks.¬ This position does not provide housing or relocation assistance.¬ 


Education Minimum Requirements:¬ ¬ ¬ ¬ 

  • Must have completed their sophomore year towards a Bachelor's degree in¬ Life Science, Veterinary Science, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Protein Science, Biomedical Engineering or Biotechnology by June 2019.


Required Experience and Skills:¬ ¬ ¬ 

  • Strong interest in laboratory and clinical research, and solving scientific problems required¬ 

  • General computer skills are essential, along with the ability to keep accurate records.

  • Must be available for full-time employment for 9 ‚€“ 12 weeks during the months of June - August 2019


Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Basic¬ laboratory skills and research experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills key

  • Time management and organization skills strongly preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
